CO – WORKING, The EU Project which enables a European bridge building between cultural and social institutions in using art and culture to support disadvantaged young people
In the framework of the EU project “CO – WORKING – LAB” European social organisations hailing from 6 countries are working on ways to enhance the competences and skills of youth workers from using art to support disadvantaged young people. The project aims through a CO – WORKING – LAB with inputs, workshops and practice of artistic methods to enhance the youth workers and the organisations.
We want to inform you that the mobility meeting in September 2016 took place in Wesenufer, UpperAustria. Pro mente OÖ is the coordinator for partners from Slowenia, Romania, Belgium, UK and Greece.
We are looking forward to start a new network between social organisations which are trained and used to work with artistic and cultural methods in youth work.
From the 5th to the 9th of September 2016 the official program of CO – WORKING – LAB took place. The program includes trainings, presentations, exchange and teamworks for RESEARCH, ARTISTIC AND SOCIAL COMPETENCES, COMMUNICATION AND VISIBILTY OF ARTISTIC METHODS, LECTURES and JOINT PERSPECITVES. Therefore all the partners will bring in their knowledges and competences, prepares presentations and will work together to get concret results for the youthwork after the LAB.
For one evening we will open this Working LAB to colleagues from the youth works, artists and an expert, also from the EU programme Youth in Action to get in discussion and exchange.
